At the beginning of the year, my sweet dog passed away. After a few weeks of feeling sad, I realized I needed to do something to get out of my funk. I decided to take all the love, nurturing, and time I had put into caring for my elderly dog and pour it into my health. I was overweight and had not been taking care of myself. I started with exercise since I had time on my hands. A couple of months later, I was ready to make changes to my diet, and luckily, around that same time, I met Sara. Sara's approach to healthy living and making maintainable changes is empowering! She doesn't push any particular "diet" but rather encourages eating healthy and making changes slowly so that they stick. She has great ideas for making meals that are healthy, tasty, and that meet the requirements of a picky eater! I've been sticking to my new eating and exercising and am feeling great! My energy is up and my body feels better in general. And I've lost weight! If you are looking for someone to help you make changes that last, I highly recommend working with Sara. She is kind, creative, and encouraging.
